Visit Historic Richmond Town for this annual festival of historic trades, skills, homecrafts, and celebration of Staten Island cultural heritage.

Since the 1960s, Old Home Day has been a fixture of Historic Richmond Town. Historic trades are demonstrated in historic houses and shops throughout the village, demonstrating the ways people lived and worked in the 19th century. Experience Staten Island’s past and present with displays by living historians and modern makers and cultural organizations.

This year, Old Home Day will be a 2-day event, with acivities and presenters featured on both Saturday and Sunday October 15 & 16.

In addition, a NEW feature will be included in the weekend: The Dutch & Native Market. Living Historians representing indigenous people and Dutch settlers will be on site to interpret the trading of goods, treaties and cultural exchange between the peoples of Staten Island in the 17th century.
