Cabin Fever Reliever - Paper Marbling Workshop
For hundreds of years, paper marbling has combined chemistry and art to form beautiful designs on paper resembling smooth stone like marble. This winter, learn about this time-honored art form of creating unique, one-of-a-kind paper prints with the Education team at Historic Richmond Town. Participants will examine marbled paper in our museum collection and make their own prints to take home in an hour-long private workshop.
Note: after the workshop ends, the marbled paper will need to dry overnight. Completed marbled paper may be picked up the following day or arranged to be sent to participants via mail.
This workshop is geared to adults and children aged 7 and up.
