Ghostlight Productions, in partnership with Historic Richmond Town, proudly presents the iconic Kander & Ebb musical Cabaret. Decadent nightlife and dangerous times collide at the seedy Kit Kat Klub, a mainstay of the 1930’s Berlin cabaret scene.
This powerful musical follows Cliff Bradshaw, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, as he navigates the shifting political and social worlds of the Weimar Republic on the eve of Hitler’s rise to power and becomes entangled with cabaret singer Sally Bowles. Cabaret is a raw and powerful jazz musical, and our presentation employs the gritty, adult script featured in the most recent Broadway revival.
Cabaret received multiple Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Original Score, and the film version garnered eight Oscars. Join us for this unforgettable theatre experience – right this way, your table’s waiting!
