Summer Open Village

Historic Richmond Town’s Main Village site comes alive with the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of New York City’s rural past! Visit skilled artisans as they practice their trade, tour the restored interiors of period homes, take part in civic life, browse working shops and functioning open hearth kitchens. Be a part of your community past, present and future! The village will be open all summer long, beginning July 1st! Visit with costumed living historians inside the site’s historic structures Monday-Friday from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM!

Experience the everyday lives of artisans, farmers, business owners, and families who lived and worked on Staten Island in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries.

Historic Richmond Town’s Main Village site is home to 45 historic structures on nearly 100 acres of beautiful parkland. The site is open to the public daily. Walk the grounds, or have a family picnic! Guided tours of the restored structures will be offered Monday through Sunday.
