Step back in time to see what New York looked like long before the age of skyscrapers. Join New York Adventure Club for a behind-the-scenes exploration of Historic Richmond Town. Your guided experience within the 100-acre complex, which contains over thirty original historic structures and more than 130,000 historic artifacts dating back to the 17th century, will include access inside:
The Christopher House (1720), the meeting place for the local Committee of Safety during the American Revolution. This stop includes access to attic spaces not open to the public.
The Boehm House (1750), featuring an exhibit on 18th century construction and contemporary restoration. This stop includes access to the cellar space not open to the public.
The Guyon Tavern (1820), interpreted as a public house like those on Staten Island in the early republic.
The Guyon-Lake-Tysen House (1740), which includes period displays of artifacts from the 18th-19th centuries. This stop includes access to the cellar space not open to the public.
The General Store (1840), which displays a wide variety of historic goods from throughout the 19th century.
