Historical Mixology Workshop
Learn about the ancient drinks enjoyed in the early American Republic.
In taverns across the North American continent, European alcoholic traditions mixed with new ingredients and habits of a fledgling nation. Ale, spices & spirits were combined to create some potent libations, which are both similar and vastly different from the cocktails of today.
In this special workshop hosted in the Guyon Tavern, discover Flip and other historic cocktails as demonstrated by food and mixology historian, Rebecca Silverman.
Tastings of three unique historical drinks and recipes are included.
