In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, learn how to make your own Irish Soda Bread at Historic Richmond Town! Join Historical Interpreters who will explain the history and origins of this classic quick bread, and make your own loaf to take home! This workshop will be held in the Guyon-Lake-Tysen House in the main village, where bread will be baked in a Dutch Oven. Admission includes a bread tasting and a butter churning tutorial.
The purchase of a ticket includes the ingredients and kitchen space to make a personal-sized Irish Soda Bread. This workshop will involve working near an open flame and is not recommended for those under the age of 7.
