Spooky Richmond Town

Historic Richmond Town invites you to join local historian and storyteller Michael Pelczar for a series of walking tours that explore the haunted history of Staten Island’s former county seat. With over 30 buildings and 300 years of human history, there is plenty to explore for those interested in uncovering all that is spooky in Staten Island’s past.

Tours will include walking outside during the evening, over uneven ground. Please wear supportive footwear.

Proof of vaccination is not required for this outdoor program.

Steeped in personal research, and with a flair for the dramatic, Pelczar’s tours are rich in information and engagement. Bring your own flashlight, and discover for yourself the scary stories of Staten Island hidden in plain sight.
