Description

brought to you by
DAVID CAVAGNARO

New York City's genuine farm stand

located on New York City's oldest continuously operated farm.

Decker Farm is one of the many wonderful treasures at …

Farm

This is the only place on Staten Island that a cook can find fresh chanterelle mushrooms. And it's the only farm stand selling just laid hen eggs. Well, if that whet your appetite, then please read on.

Come visit us this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mr. Cavagnaro is happy to take your advance orders. Also, empty egg cartons are most welcome! (We just kindly request that the expiration date is scratched/marked out.)

Each weekend, Mr. Cavagnaro will bring you a specialized menu of gourmet food items and fresh produce. To pre-order or reserve items, email farm manager David Cavagnaro at davidws348@verizon.net.
THIS SATURDAY!

We're at that point in the summer where the ground is bursting with beautiful things. And we have the first pumpkins of the season --- hooray!

Cooking demonstrations for tomorrow include how to prepare "verde lago," a succulent green that can be used like spinach. Also, learn how to prep zucchini/squash blossoms without the deep-fry method. Watermelon "agua fresca" is offered as a complimentary beverage.
