Beginning Sept. 2nd

Thursday & Friday: Lunch from 11 am to 3 pm.

Saturday & Sunday: Breakfast from 9:30 am to noon. Lunch from noon to 3 pm.

Wednesday: Lunch or dinner for private parties of 10 or more by reservation. Call 718-351-6308.

Dear Friends,

This year is the 30th anniversary of the Richmond County Fair.  The Fair is the longest running and best attended event in the borough with record crowds in the tens of thousands.  It's also a charity event that raises funds for the children's education programs and restoration at Historic Richmond Town.

Here are some new goodies the Time Warner Cable team and our staff are putting together for the 2009 Richmond County Fair:

  • This year it's 3 days - September 11, 12 & 13

  • We go into the night - until 9:30pm each night.  That's two and half hours more for the same price.

  • Since Friday the 11th is the start of the first weekend after back-to-school, we're calling it School Break Out night.  A teen DJ, a band and a movie - for free! Amusement rides can be purchased with tickets.

  • Friday will also preview great rock bands on the Martini Red stage presented by AWE.

  • Saturday and Sunday feature the AWE Zone - rock bands, games, demos and specialty vendors.

  • All the wonderful things you love at the Fair are back: pig races, rides, attractions, demonstrations, open village, tavern concerts and great food.

Please check the website weekly for more details.  Also, look for our ad in August's SI Parent magazine and our commercials on Time Warner Cable.  Lastly, don't forget to check out on the rock bands featured in the SI Advance's AWE section each week.  Meet them in person at the Fair.
